Who we need
Reporting to the VP of Innovation, we are looking for a Business Operations Specialist, Analytics and Insights. You will take ownership of data initiatives, including optimizing data management, supporting system implementations, and introducing process improvements through automation.You will bring a data science background in data organization, analysis, accuracy and integrity, to identify trends and inform decision-making based on data-driven insights. You will collaborate with internal teams and OSCAR Pro’s leadership team to align data initiatives with organizational goals.

In this role, you will focus on:
- Reporting and analytics. You will deliver actionable insights by creating and managing ad hoc queries and reports from various data sources to support organizational decision-making. You will design and implement dashboards that provide real-time visibility into key metrics, ensuring stakeholders can access the information they need. You will collaborate with teams to identify reporting needs, streamline data visualization, and drive a culture of data-informed decision-making.
- Data quality. You will develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across the organization. You will identify and address gaps between current data and the desired state through data cleansing, enrichment, and validation processes. You will establish robust governance standards to maintain integrity and compliance. You will collaborate with teams to align data practices with organizational goals and promote data literacy and best practices.
- System Implementation. You will play a key role in the adoption of new systems and technologies to support operational efficiency. Whether integrating a CRM, optimizing data platforms, or refining internal tools, you will ensure seamless implementation and alignment with business needs.
- Efficiency, Automation, and Business Impact. Beyond traditional data responsibilities, you will support broader business initiatives, identifying opportunities to improve workflows and reduce manual effort. You will lead and project manage initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and drive business growth. Working cross-functionally, you will track and measure the impact of process improvements, ensuring continuous optimization and alignment with organizational goals. This is an opportunity to combine data expertise with hands-on problem-solving to make a lasting impact on the business.
You bring:
- The technical experience. You have a strong foundation in data science or computer science and have worked as a data analyst or in a similar role, demonstrating the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and present findings effectively. You have experience querying databases such as MySQL and using tools for data extraction and analysis. You are proficient in Power BI or Snowflake for data visualization and analysis.
- The critical thinking. You excel at analyzing data, identifying patterns, and understanding complex systems, processes, and workflows. Your problem-solving skills allow you to uncover root causes and develop practical solutions that enhance efficiency and drive automation. You approach challenges from multiple perspectives, enabling you to optimize operations and implement meaningful improvements.
- The project management skills. You have a proven ability to coordinate tasks and resources while balancing competing priorities and deadlines. With experience managing end-to-end data projects, you effectively plan, schedule, communicate, and execute deliverables on time and within budget. You adapt to shifting timelines, solve problems creatively, and manage scope while exceeding client expectations.
- The interpersonal skills. You have exceptional communication skills. You know how to ask probing questions to elicit team needs and convey complex ideas in an easily understood manner. You have outstanding collaboration skills and can engage and influence team members, building trusting relationships.
