Responsibilities/Qualifications:
Intrado is seeking a motivated FP&A Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you will play a key role in supporting expense budget management, assisting with financial reporting and analysis, and supporting capital allocation processes.This position requires a strong work ethic and offers a unique opportunity to grow your corporate finance career with a leader in public safety technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing monthly variance analysis reports for senior leadership
- Help analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights, with guidance from senior team members
- Assist in maintaining and updating existing reporting systems and workflows
- Support the creation and maintenance of financial reports and dashboards using Excel and Power BI
- Collaborate with various department owners to gather data and address budget-related inquiries and modifications
- Support expense budget management by providing people throughout the company with the information required to submit accurate purchase requisitions, ensuring purchase requisitions align with budgets, and tracking related changes
- Contribute to ad hoc financial analysis and projects as assigned
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
Experience:
- 1+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related roles
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Advanced to expert-level Excel skills (familiarity with Power Query, Power Pivot, or Power BI is a plus)
- Ability to analyze financial data and identify key insights
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proactive mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
- Organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Willingness to work extended hours as needed
