Senior Project Manager for an SAP Upgrade Project with Utilities Industry

Our client utilities client is seeking a Senior Project Manager for an SAP Upgrade Project Duration - 6 months Work mode - 100% On site Job Summary: The SAP S/4HANA Upgrade (1909 to 2023) Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing SAP S/4HANA upgrade projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
This role involves coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.
Key Responsibilities: Project Planning and Management: Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation.
Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables. Stakeholder Management: Communicate proactively with all different stakeholder like Customer, 3rd Party, Customer’s partner, team member to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment with business objectives. Risk Management: Identify and manage project risks and issues, and develop mitigation plans. Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project team members on a proactive basis. Provide coaching and guidance to the project team members and stakeholders. Technical Expertise: Utilize knowledge of SAP S/4HANA to guide the project team and stakeholders.
Ensure that the technical solutions meet the business requirements and are aligned with the overall IT strategy. Must Haves: 8-14 Years of proven experience as a Project Manager in SAP S/4HANA upgrade projects , preferably in Utilities Industry.
Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and functionalities . Nice to Have: Strong hands-on Project Management experience with following technology stake is preferred: SAP S4 HAHA, Open Text, MDG PMP or similar project management certification is preferred.
