  • Position Overview Under the direction of the Supervisor, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values, and Management Philosophy of St.

Boniface Hospital, the Housekeeping Unit Support Worker, is responsible for: performing various cleaning functions/services throughout the Hospital and annexes; understanding and following Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) guidelines; and performing other related duties as assigned.

Experience Not Applicable Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Grade 10.
Certification/Licensure/Registration Not Applicable Qualifications and Skills Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to interact well with others.
Ability to retain information which is of a confidential nature.
Good interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to adapt readily to fast-paced situations.
Physical Requirements Ability to walk, stand, bend, twist, lift and reach continuously throughout the entire shift.
Ability to lift approximately 25 lbs/11 kgs.
