Our client is currently seeking a reliable and hard working associates to join their team. Our client is a leader in the plastic printing industry. We are currently looking for associates to start ASAP on afternoon shift to work as a Press Operator.
Location:
- Birchmount and Dennison
Shifts:
- Afternoons - 4pm to 12:00am Monday to Friday
Duties:
- Setup and operate print press machines
- Machine set up and making adjustments to machine
- Trouble shooting machines
- Lamination and Glue application
- Operating machine and conducting quality checks
- Checking machine temperatures
- Understanding press machines and press hydraulics
- Operating and processing up to 10 colours
- Changing print sleeves and dye
- Other general duties
Requirements:
- Must have a mechanical aptitude
- Must have 2 years experience as Press Operator
- Experience with Plastic Print is a strong assest
- Experience with setup
- Must know measurements
- Must have experience using hand tools
- Must be able to do physical work
- Experience in packaging industry (plastic) is a strong asset
