Mission:
The Operations Strategy & Transformation Sr Manager leads the strategic planning for operations and act as the primary Operations point of contact for the company's long-term strategic plan.

His mission also consists in leading the digital transformation roadmap of the Operations department of Danone Canada, developing Data & Analytics capabilities while implementing new automated processes and leveraging Ai technology throughout our digital journey

He is building and leading the long-term vision for network sourcing, ensuring the optimization of the logistics network to enhance profitability and resilience.
In collaboration with marketing Teams, he is supporting the exploration of new innovations and managing major CAPEX projects to support growth and drive operational excellence.

This role involves being the go-to person for key sustainability operations projects consolidation and animation, The role also includes driving breakthrough solutions for major logistics productivity topics

Specific Tasks:
  • Operations and Danone Canada Enterprise Strat Plan:
  • Lead the strategic plan for operations and be the point of contact for the company's long-term strategic plan.
  • Animate the long-term capacity check process and initiate the roadmap of capabilities/capacity creation to support our business growth
  • Logistic Network Optimization to improve sustainability, increase resilience and drive profitbaility:
  • Lead logistics network optimization projects and animate cross-functional project team
  • Animate network projects steering committee
  • Build and lead the long-term vision for network sourcing
  • Lead Business Continuity mapping process to initiate required sourcing resiliency projects
  • Support Exploration of long-term innovations projects:
  • Be the Operations point of contact for marketing team in the exploration of new innovations
  • Lead and coordinate the construction and approval of major CAPEX projects
  • Lead Sustainability for Operations:
  • Be the reference and leader for the consolidation of key sustainability projects
  • Lead the Operations Sustainability steering committee to drive and ensure the progress our carbon reduction objectives
  • Breakthrough ideas:
o Lead breakthrough solutions for major logistics productivity topics
o Benchmark and work with external partners to identify the pipeline of long term network and logistic productivity projects
  • Digital Transformation - Build the future of Supply Chain:
o In collaboration with our Operations Data & Analytics Manager, Build our long-term Data & Analytics vision and deploy our digital journey roadmap (D&A learning plan, leverage AI in our processes, process automation, …)

o Lead and animate the Supply Chain departments and IT teams in deploying our Digital Transformation roadmap such as implementing tasks automation and centralizing our scorecards and dashboards.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and competencies:
  • Bachelor's and/or master's degree in business administration, operations & logistics management or other relevant field.
  • 5 to 8 years of professional experience in operations and/or supply chain.
  • Professional experience in a consumer goods company and good knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain stakes and network changes implications.
  • Bilingual
  • Strong Analytical Skills, Capability to turn figures into insights and actions.
  • Strong Knowledge and use of Excel (Power BI and coding language are an asset).
  • Good Financial Skills to build business case.
  • Collaborative with strong Leadership skills.
  • Resilience, positive attitude and implicated.
