Pay Details:

• Starting pays: $37.44 to start plus shift premium based on 310T Red seal and experience

Schedule:

• 6:30 am - 3 pm Monday to Friday .
• Full-time, 40 hours per week

Job Details:

• Completes necessary repair and preventive maintenance work.
• Checks safety equipment on truck and/or trailers.
• Inspects trucks and/or equipment, for condition, operation, parts and fluid levels.
• Identifies and designates problems.
• Performs adjustments to various systems during preventive maintenance service.
• Make emergency roadside repairs; at times after-hours; carry, monitor and answer company issued cellphone for after hour service calls.
• Write service reports that accurately document activities and parts used from truck inventory.
• Perform assigned tasks in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner.
• Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
• Respectfully takes direction from supervisor/ manager.
• Perform PM’s and inspections.
• Maintain a safe working environment and observe all safety procedures, laws, policies and rules.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Red Seal Certified Technician either 310T/310J being an active member in good standing with Skilled Trades Ontario.
• CVIP Certification is an asset.
• Two years verifiable mechanic experience.
• Operation of hand and air tools.
• Ability to do mobile mechanical repairs in a timely manner.

Pay Range: Starting from CAD $37.44/Hr.
