What is the opportunity?
As Director, Sourcing Execution, you will be responsible for the development of sourcing and savings/cost avoidance strategies while ensuring a sustainable supply chain to support RBC businesses, and optimizing total value generated from RBC’s supplier base.This role executes and manages procurement needs by building a vision and road map to diagnose our client requirements and vendor capabilities. The Director, Sourcing Execution leads a team of sourcing practitioners in negotiating non-complex (low risk) and complex (high value/high risk) deals.
This role is essential in strengthening relationships with business unit clients and vendors as well as ensuring solutions are developed and delivered on time and against operational and financial business targets.

What you need to succeed?
Must-have- Executive Relationship Development and People Management Experience.
- Experience leading complex enterprise-wide negotiations.
- Leadership and management of a global team.
- Experience in Global procurement, supply chain and category management.
- Strong grasp of procurement law and/or regulations.
- 10 years of prior experience leading sourcing activities and Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong Business, Financial and Negotiation Skills.
- Experience Leading Complex deals with a total contract value of $10Million or more.
- Post-secondary education in Supply Chain or related field. Procurement Designation.
