Solutions Architect, Intergration and Automation
In this role you will bridge technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure seamless connectivity between systems and applications using tools such as Boomi, Solace, Workday Studio, and GoAnywhere. As the Solutions Architect you will provide expertise in both solution design and enterprise platform architecture, focusing on the delivery of efficient integration patterns and automation workflows.
You will collaborate closely with business units, enterprise architects, software vendors, and development teams to define requirements and deliver well-architected solutions. In addition, the role plays a key part in the ongoing evolution and governance of the enterprise integration platform.

Essential Responsibilities: Architects’ scalable integration and automation solutions using platforms such as Boomi, Solace, Workday Studio, and GoAnywhere Optimizes Integration Patterns, ensuring solutions are efficient, reusable, and aligned with performance and security standards, leveraging Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) where applicable Validates tools and approaches to ensure consistency with business goals, IT strategy, and technical standards; collaborates with the Enterprise Architecture team.
Reviews and approves integration designs to ensure compliance with architectural and security guidelines. Drives Stakeholder Engagement, building strong relationships with technical teams, business units, and vendors to ensure successful delivery of integration initiatives Resolves Integration Issues, acting as the primary escalation point for integration-related issues, coordinating with internal teams and external partners for resolution Provides architectural guidance and supports skill development for Business Systems Analysts and Integration Specialists.
Leads the development, enforcement, and evolution of integration architecture standards and best practices across the organization. Encourages consistent use of reusable components and APIs, and fosters adherence to integration development standards Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field, with 5+ years in designing and implementing integration solutions in enterprise environments.Proficient in integration platforms and tools such as Boomi, Solace, Workday Studio, GoAnywhere, Power Platform, with strong knowledge of APIs, web services (REST, SOAP, GraphQL), and messaging protocols (HTTP, SMTP) Skilled in integration and automation architecture, including enterprise integration patterns, cloud architectures, DevOps (GitHub Actions, SonarCloud), and SDLC best practices Experience using Postman, Swagger, RPA tools, and working with data formats like JSON, XML, YAML, and markup languages such as WSDL, RAML, HTML Proven ability to lead technical teams, provide architectural direction, and mentor integration specialists while establishing best practices and standards Strong in functional requirements gathering, business process analysis, and stakeholder engagement to identify automation opportunities and ensure alignment with business goals Designs scalable, secure, and maintainable integration solutions, and supports technical change management and quality control across development processes Experience managing small teams and contributing to project planning, execution, and delivery within complex, high-demand enterprise IT environments Certifications in platforms like Boomi or Solace (preferred), with familiarity in JD Edwards, Workday, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, etc.) Work Conditions: This position offers work from home options with the expectation of attending the office 1-2 days per week Additional Information The Ledcor Group of Companies is one of North America’s most diversified construction companies.
