What is the opportunity?
Retail Credit Engineering and Innovation is looking for a talented and passionate SAP Functional Consultant to join our team. As Senior Functional Consultant you will lead the discussions for teams to complete deliverables throughout the end to end lifecycle of a project.The primary system you will work with is SAP CRM and its various interfacing systems. You will engage with IT, Operations, and business stakeholders to help integrate business objectives with technology solutions. The Senior Functional Consultant is a key leader on a project team of application architects, developers, business analysts, and other project stakeholders.
What will you do?- Partner with IT, Operations and business stakeholders to assess, analyze and document business and system needs, recommend business and technical solutions and lead the development and integration of project features into a complex business and system landscape.
- Collaborate with project team members and lead the completion of project deliverables in order to offer a complete product (i.e. Functional Specifications, Data Mapping, Impact Analysis, Maintenance Handover, and Training Guides).
- Drive enhancements to SAP systems, primarily SAP CRM with hands on configurations, customizing, and collaborating directly with Technical Leads and Developers.
- Enable configurable solutions that offer flexibility in order to reduce the need for complex development and decrease the time to market,
- Mentor junior functional consultants who are less experienced in areas of the system, and collaborate with experts to acquire experience in all areas of the solution landscape.
- Provide effective leadership to manage issues, define, influence, and impact the technical direction of an IT project.
What do you need to succeed?
Must Have:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to define, influence, and impact the technical direction.
- Minimum 4-7 years experience as a Functional Consultant Lead working with SAP CRM
- Experience in at least 2 full project delivery lifecycle (from initiation to post-implementation.
- Experience with SAP CRM Basic configuration (i.e. Action Profiles, Status Profiles and Pricing Procedure)
- Refined knowledge of Requirements methods: interviewing, data modelling, business process modelling, business object modelling and user interface design
- Extensive knowledge of business applications/ processes (i.e. Netweaver, CRM, Banking Services, Enterprise Portal, Solution Manager)
Nice to Have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Computer Science preferred
- Experience in the financial industry
- Experience in different Implementation methodologies: Agile, ASAP, RUP, Waterfall
- Experience with SAP BRF+
