General Manager - Restaurant

Adecco is actively seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager for a thriving restaurant located in the Durham area. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team and drive exceptional guest experiences while managing the operational and financial performance of the restaurant.

• Location: Durham area
• Salary: $50k/year.
• Job type: Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Directing the efficient and accurate preparation and sale of products to maximize guest satisfaction.
• Ensuring preventive maintenance of restaurant facilities and equipment is completed in accordance with company standards.
• Motivating and directing team members to exceed customer expectations with fast and friendly service in clean surroundings.
• Providing coaching and feedback to Team Members, Shift Coordinators/Managers, and Assistant Managers.
• Assuming full responsibility for restaurant profit and loss management by implementing marketing strategies and following cash control/security procedures.
• Maintaining inventory, managing labor, and applying financial reporting analysis to enhance restaurant results.
• Enforcing compliance with government regulations, Market Policy, employment laws, food safety, Security Policy, and operational policies.
• Working evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Overseeing a primarily indoor environment with occasional outdoor tasks.
• Engaging in physical activities such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
