Our GTA based, Municipal Government client requires the services of an Organizational Change Management and Training Specialist to work within the Maximo implementation program to develop training content, coordinate and train end users. ROLE: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced OCM/Training Specialist to join our team for a project focused on the implementation and enhancement of the Maximo Application Suite (MAS) platform.
This role will play a critical part in ensuring that our Operations and Infrastructure group maximizes the benefits and adoption of Maximo MAS to improve business processes, increase efficiency, and enhance operational performance. The candidate will collaborate with the Vendor OCM/Training Lead to develop training content, coordinate, and deliver training to the end users.
The candidate will establish relationships and work closely with business users to make sure updated Standard Operating Procedures are reflected in the training material. The OCM/Training Specialist will establish trust and rapport with end users to create an engaging learning environment and navigate resistance to change or disagreements constructively.
The successful candidate will lead the planning and execution of the project training initiatives while supporting the program’s overall change management effort. The OCM/Training Specialist will be required to work at multiple Client locations across Toronto.
This role requires shift work in order to deliver the in-person training to employees. This role may also require the specialist to work on site daily for various durations, otherwise it will be remote with 2 days on site and 3 days remote. MUST HAVE: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Education, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as an OCM/Training Specialist or similar role , ideally in software implementation projects. Strong understanding of IBM Maximo or similar Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) platforms . Experience creating and delivering both in-person and virtual training sessions .
