Our IT consulting services client is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to manage an offshore team of data professionals and lead strategic planning for data architecture and governance - HYBRID IN MONTREAL 7 months contract, up til November, high possibly for extension, hybrid in Montreal downtown Must Have: 8+ years in Data Management , Data Engineering , and Data Architecture 5+ years experience with SQL , Python , and Excel 2+ years in Financial Services (industry or consulting) 2+ years experience in data visualization (Power BI and/or Tableau) 2+ years with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) 2+ years in Enterprise Data Architecture (ETL/ELT, data retention, quality) 2+ years leading end-to-end technology solutions Nice to Have: Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) Certifications in Snowflake Experience with AI/ML/Generative AI 2+ years managing offshore teams Familiarity with MDM, DQ, DG tools (e., Collibra, Informatica, Microsoft Purview) Knowledge of R or similar tools "Big 4" consulting background or experience across multiple industries Bachelor's or Master’s degree Responsibilities: Apply
