Accounts Payable Specialist

We are in the search for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Mississauga, Ontario. This role is within the financial services industry and will focus on managing all accounts payable duties. This is a short-term contract employment opportunity.

• Efficiently process customer credit applications with accuracy
• Keep track of and update customer credit records regularly
• Ensure a smooth run of payments and send them for approval
• Handle check runs and accounts payable duties
• Use Excel for vlook up, pivot table, and other functions
• Manage sales expenses for various sales teams
• Conduct thorough visa statement checks and perform visa reconciliations
• Pay bills online, managing around 20 bills
• Handle EFT batches and set up new suppliers
• Use various accounting software systems, including ADP and ERP, to optimize accounting functions
• Ensure proper account coding and manage accrued expenses
• Audit accounts payable processes for accuracy
• Use Concur for expense account management, expense accruals, and expense allocation
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various financial functions, including queries and formulas.
