Your new role will be
As a Technical Sales Representative specializing in High Pressure Gas Compressors, you will play a pivotal role in driving our business growth across various industrial applications. We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient engineer with a background in sales, expertise in high pressure gas pistons, and experience in the hydrogen, carbon capture, and biogas industries.In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and providing technical expertise to support our products and services.
This position reports to the Business Development Specialist-High Pressure and Gas Generators and is based in Ontario.
The main activities you’ll take care of- Maximizing the sales of all available Oil-Free Air products to our current and new customers through consistent sale prospecting activities focused towards your assigned market
- Ensuring that related sales targets are met in terms of unit sales and revenue generation while giving due attention to highest price realization
- Increasing market share in your assigned territory through an efficient sales process and increased market coverage
- Ensuring proper & professional follow-up of customers and prospects and coordination with distributors operating within your assigned territory
- Gathering information about the market potential, competitor’s activities, new applications and constantly reporting these to the immediate manager
- Ensuring an up-to-date knowledge of products by attending product trainings or using the internal Learning Database
- Ensuring all calls, visits, quotes and other required prospecting details are recorded in internal CRM platform on a frequent basis
- Promoting, respecting and committing to Atlas Copco’s company rules and policies
- Base salary + commission + 10% annual performance bonus

- Your bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field is preferred (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical), or equivalent technical experience
- Your minimum of 3 years of experience in the hydrogen, carbon capture and biogas industry
- Your strong technical and problem-solving skills
- Your excellent communication and presentation skills in English. French would be considered a strong asset
- You are self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Your willingness to travel as required for customer visits and trade shows
- You have a valid driver's license.
- Your experience with CRM softwares (SAP) would be a strong asset
- In-depth knowledge of high pressure piston technology and applications would be an asset
