About Our Client
Our client is a Toronto-based private equity firm.
Job Description- Overseeing month end close procedures
- Reviewing HST returns on monthly basis
- Reviewing quarterly financial package
- Preparing annual budget
- Preparing transfer pricing adjustment annually
- Coordinating the preparation of tax returns for 70+ entities including trust, limited partnerships and corporations both in Canada and US
- Overseeing the preparation of year-end audited financial statements and interacting with auditors throughout the year
- Review expense reports for both personal expenses for employees and corporate credit card program
- Oversee full payroll process for Canadian and US employees
- Ensuring OSC funds meet all compliance requirements
- Calculating annual carry loans and interest
- Calculating carry value for investment sales

The Successful Applicant- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, Accounting or related field
- CPA, CA designation is required
- 10+ years professional experience in the Financial Services industry (Private Equity/Investment Management) experience is preferred
- Public Accounting experience will be an advantage
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team
- Works well in a small team environment
