We offer a new way to pay technicians that rewards them for their effort and skills and does not penalize them for things out of their control. At Volkswagen Newmarket, you will be paid hourly with a high earning potential based on your experience!
As a Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Performs repairs on vehicles as assigned.
- Performs vehicle inspections and assessments including diagnosis issues.
- Documents all work performed to Manufacturer standards and/or recommended on the repair order.
- Road tests vehicles as required.
- Automotive service technician trade certification to meet provincial requirements.
- Maintains all relevant Licences and Qualifications to perform duties.
- Thorough knowledge of mechanical repairs and procedures.
- Knowledge of Provincial Safety Standards concerning the performance and area of position responsibility.
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License and clean drivers abstract.
