Summary of Duties: The Parking Attendant role is crucial to the flow of traffic throughout our busy campus. The Parking attendant duties include the following: Issue parking passes by providing high level of customer service for visitors, staff and patients within the parking department.
Responsible for proper function of cash register, computer and all other equipment related to business operation. Accurately collect, balance and report sales following departmental procedures on a daily basis. Prepares and submit daily deposits as per departmental procedure Take steps to resolve customer concerns/problems as required.
Post transaction reports in the database as per departmental policy Works in parking booths when the need arise Issue warning or ticket to those in violation of parking restrictions Direct traffic and work at the valet service booth when assigned.

Qualifications/Skills: Have MLEO license Successful completion of secondary school required Proficiency with computer applications Minimum of 1 year experience interacting with patients in a health care setting required Ability to work with minimal supervision, sense of urgency, customer/client focused Ability to work under pressure and multi-task Demonstrated good communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to lift minor parking equipment to meet the physical demands of the position (standing and walking for extended periods of time) Understand the requirements of Infection Control & Prevention; the Health & Safety Act
