We are seeking a detail-oriented Controller to lead financial operations for a growing distribution wholesale company. This role oversees day-to-day accounting activities, ensures compliance with financial regulations, and provides strategic financial insights to support business growth.
Responsibilities include financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and cross-functional collaboration to drive efficiency and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee preparation of accurate financial statements (P& L, balance sheet, cash flow).
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and company policies.
- Perform financial analysis and present reports to senior leadership.
- Lead annual budgeting and develop financial forecasts.
- Oversee cost accounting, inventory valuation, and margin optimization.
- Ensure proper internal controls and regulatory compliance (e.g., taxes, audits).
- Manage cash flow, working capital, AR/AP processes, and credit facilities.
- Lead and mentor the finance/accounting team while fostering accuracy and accountability.
