Join Park Paving Ltd., one of Alberta’s leading construction companies, and help us build a safer, more skilled workforce. We’re looking for a full-time Heavy Equipment Operator Trainer to lead and support operator development programs.
What You'll Be Doing:
As our HEO Trainer, you’ll deliver hands-on and classroom training for a range of equipment, including:
- Dozer
- Excavator
- Grader
- Skid Steer
- Loader
- Forklift
- RT Backhoe
- Packer
You’ll assess operator skills, deliver practical coaching, and promote safe, efficient operating practices. This position works closely with Safety, HR, and Operations to support onboarding, retraining, and workforce development year-round.
What We're Looking For:
- 7+ years of experience operating heavy equipment in construction or roadbuilding
- In-depth knowledge of Alberta OH&S regulations and safe operating procedures
- Proven experience training, mentoring, or evaluating operators
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience in digital / classroom / field training delivery for classes up to 15 students
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License (Class 3 or 1 preferred)
- Certifications such as Train-the-Trainer or forklift trainer are strong assets
