Job Duties:
- Cook meals and individual dishes
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Determine appropriate portion sizes and assist in estimating food requirements and costs
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed
- Maintain inventory and records of food and supplies
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health and safety standards.
- Assist in planning menus and ensuring consistency in food quality
- Supervise and assist kitchen helpers in food preparation and basic cooking tasks
- Maintain a clean kitchen and work area at all times
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with restaurant standards and recipes
- Language of Work: English
- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school education
- Cuisine specialties: Xi’an-style cuisine experience preferred
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of relevant work experience as a cook is required
