Job Duties:

• Assist the owner/restaurant manager in overseeing daily operations, developing the restaurant team and analyzing budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits
• Implement company polices and operational procedures
• Train and motivate staff to ensure excellent food service and high customer satisfaction
• Assist in recruiting, scheduling and overseeing staff performance
• Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
• Monitor inventory of food, beverages and supplies, and place orders as needed
• Review customer feedback and address customer issues professionally
• Ensure staff compliance with health and safety regulations

Job requirements:

• Completion of secondary school is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the food service sector, including experience in a supervisory role, is required.
• The Serving It Right certificate is required.
• Leadership, excellent interpersonal communication skills and customer service skills are required.
• Language of work: English
