Fountain Tire Fort McMurray is searching for a friendly and knowledgeable Service Manager to manage the operations of the service department to drive productivity, quality assurance and to promote a high level of customer satisfaction.

As a Service Manager, your duties will include:
- Overseeing and managing mechanical and tire services
- Setting quality standards and maintaining the quality of all shop activities
- Ensuring completion of shop maintenance and repair work
- Addressing customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous, professional manner
- Advising technicians of work that must be completed
- Ensuring technicians compliance with company standards regarding quality, safety, and customer service
- Managing the morale in the shop by setting and demonstrating a strong business ethic for dealing with employees, suppliers, and customers
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the shop
- Create work orders, arrange bookings and communicate them to technicians.
- Provide service quotes and receive customer authorization for work to be performed on vehicles, finalize sales, and complete customer follow up.
Our ideal candidate has/is:
- 2+ years of professional experience as a Service Manager or Service Advisor required
- Knowledge of mechanical services
- Effective leadership skills, with a strong focus on operations and business processes
- High level of integrity and accountability
- A customer service focus
- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers
- Strong communication, and interpersonal skills
- Continuously looking to learn and use new skills and the demonstrated ability to recognize opportunities for improvements
- Flexible, patient, and calm when working with tight schedules
