Junior Logistics Clerk

You'll be an essential part of our team, ensuring materials are handled accurately and efficiently, maintaining a smooth flow of products, and supporting the broader warehouse operations.

• Pay rate: $20/hour.
• Location: Mississauga, ON
• Shifts: Monday-Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm
• Job type: Temporary to Permanent – Full-time

Detailed Job Description: As a Shipper Receiver, you will:

• Perform general warehouse duties, including shipping, receiving, loading, and unloading materials, while adhering to safety protocols.
• Lift weights up to 50lbs and assist in picking orders, performing audits, and conducting inventory counts.
• Utilize your ability to read, analyze, and interpret business guidelines and technical procedures.
• Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals with precision.
• Effectively communicate and present information to management, employees, and vendors.
• Showcase your organizational skills and prioritize tasks in demanding environments with tight deadlines.
• Handle multiple tasks efficiently under pressure, displaying your self-motivation.
• Manage time exceptionally, collaborate, make informed decisions, and maintain an organized approach.
• Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, fostering effective working relationships within the team.
• Comfortably facilitate cross-functional meetings with customers and business representatives.
• Embrace additional responsibilities as assigned.

Candidate's Profile: To succeed in this role, you should have:

• A High School Diploma or GED.
• A minimum of 4 years of related experience
• Must have previous shipping experience
• Knowledge of industry-related issues, such as electronics, manufacturing, and transportation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based applications, accurate typing, data entry skills, and basic math skills.
• Eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
