Logistics Coordinator - Ottawa

Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Logistics Coordinator to join our client’s warehouse team in Bowmanville, ON. I this position you will please a key role in ensuring efficient and seamless transportation, inventory, and distribution processes.

• Pay Rate: up to $26/hour (based on experience)
• Location: Bowmanville, ON
• Shift: Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Job type: Temporary | Full-time | 15-month contract

Responsibilities:

• Create all required documents, BOL, Customs documents, and packing slips for all shipments leaving our facility.
• Complete the final step of the sales process of invoicing shipments
• Cold calls, answering questions about product, receive orders, prepare and provide quotes.
• Complete RFQs from clients in US and Canada.

Qualifications:

• Highschool diploma, college diploma preferred
• 2-3 years' experience in logistics or customer service experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office
• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
