Springboard’s Community Learning HUB (HUB), our digital learning platform launched in 2009, promotes health and inclusion for youth and young adults. Supporting over 250 schools, social service organizations, and Springboard staff, the HUB reaches thousands of participants annually across Canada.
The Supervisor, HUB Digital Learning & Training is responsible for supervising the production of Springboard’s HUB digital learning initiatives. In collaboration with the Manager, HUB Digital Learning & Training, the Supervisor of HUB Digital Learning & Training will maintain full life cycle project management tools for digital learning initiatives and lead the creative design of digital assets.Responsibilities will include leading the hiring, onboarding and training of staff, collaborating with internal and external partners to understand needs, overseeing curriculum development, standardizing module design strategies, assessing product performance, supporting compliance with funding contracts, developing technology process improvements, and motivating a cross-functional team.
Requirements
WAYS YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE- People Leadership – Lead team to strong performance and the successful achievement of complex digital initiatives. Ensure compliance with Springboard management standards.
- Full Cycle Project Management – Manage and coordinate product development and technical aspects of a project, including planning, design development, and project closeout.
- Community Outreach – Oversee HUB learning partnership network, including 300+ national agencies.
- Partnership Building – Work with HUB leadership to support reporting and fund development.
- Design and Documentation – Implement design standards and process improvements.
- Financial Oversight – Work with Manager and Finance to develop budgets for HUB portfolio. Oversee, monitor and analyze financial statements to ensure programs are on budget and work collaboratively to determine actions required if there are variances. Collaborate on strategies to increase financial performance. Understand timing implications of events and of funding.
WHO YOU ARE
Education/Experience- Post-secondary diploma or degree in digital design, web development, curriculum development, a related field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in program or project leadership related to online learning platforms, digital creative production, or curriculum development
- Experience in project or program oversight, tracking deliverables, and using project management and CRM tools
- Experience planning and supporting professional development / learning programs
- Experience people leading and growing software designers and developers
- Extensive experience working in agile teams and practices
- Proficiency in computer applications for database management, word processing and presentations e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Excellent written communication skills in English to prepare internal and external documentation
- Ability to advise, discuss and clearly document complex technical concepts
- An aptitude for problem solving, researching and analyzing information and clearly communicating the results to a variety of users
- Ability to lead teams, projects and partnerships from an anti-oppressive framework
- Experience in fundraising or fund development an asset
