Adecco is currently hiring a full-time detail-oriented and experienced Compounder to join our production team. The Compounder is responsible for measuring, mixing, and blending raw materials according to precise formulations to produce high-quality products.

This role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety and quality standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Pay Rate: $22 - $25/hour (based on experience)
  • Location: Scarborough, ON (onsite)

Responsibilities:

  • Be able to compound all batches, with and without supervision. Package into specified bags or containers and on holding skids.
  • Review powders and Chemical Batch Sets and secure chemicals from staging area and/ or weigh. Ensure that all powder and chemical Batch Sets are fully and accurately completed.
  • Follow specified sampling procedures, sample finish batches upon completion, including samples. Label and take samples to the lab for testing. Make batch adjustments prescribed by the lab when necessary. Re-sample if required.
  • Maintain a tidy, clean and safe work area at all times while batching. Clean and sanitize equipment as required or assigned. Keep accurate log books on equipment. Have a working knowledge of inventory practices.

Qualifications:

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
  • Must be able to lift and carry weights and move 45-gallon drums from pallets.
  • Forklift License /experience a must.
  • Grade 12 education or equivalent.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English.
  • Have a good mathematical aptitude.
  • Understand and follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, Safety Standards, and follow plant policies and procedures.
  • Understand and have a working knowledge of WHMIS and MSDS.
  • Able to work overtime when required.
  • Basic computer data entry experiences.
  • Have a high level of positive work ethics and team building, understand and develop knowledge of continuous improvement.
  • Must be able to continuously learn to operate all compounding equipment in the department assigned.
  • Previous compounding experiences preferred
  • Background in Cosmetic production warehouse is an asset
