Position: Quality Analyst Consultant
Location: Toronto, Canada
Duration: Minimum 6 months

Frequency: Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, assess & investigate supplier quality issues
  • Invoke & Perform source inspection
  • Lead & participate to quality reviews & governances with 2nd level of management (Directors)
  • Plan & Perform FAI review
  • Perform data analysis & generate KPI on supplier’s quality performance
  • Lead, plan & execute high complex & cross-functional projects & initiatives
  • Define Corrective action & improvement plan with the suppliers
  • Review & approve quality forms (ex: dropship)
  • Manage RNC / VRNC Q & tasks that required MRB approval
  • Provide technical support & coaching to the team members & stakeholders
  • Lead & manage DMM during absence of the leader
  • Participate to executive meeting & PMR with suppliers
  • Coaching & training suppliers on our quality tools
  • Director’s delegate on quality & Director’s meetings
  • Act as a mentor & participate to define the strategic plans of the department

Requirements:

  • Experience with First Article Inspections (AS9102)
  • Commodity experience in machined parts
  • Have a working knowledge of CMM inspection; interpret inspection report data as it relates to manufacturing requirements
  • Possess general knowledge of Aerospace Quality Systems and International Standards
  • SAP
  • Must be familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures with regards to inspection including proficiency in the use of CMM, comparator, micrometers, thread gauges and calipers
  • The ability to read blue prints, check dimensional properties of parts or raw material to ensure compliance to manufacturing drawings/blueprints and psecifications
  • Knowledge of Discus preferred
  • Knowledge of Net Inspect
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite products. A certain degree of creativity and flexibility in required
  • Knowledge of GD&T required
  • Minimum of 7 or more years of experience in aerospace
  • Propose innovative solutions.
  • Identify improvment opportunities, team efficiency, capability among the team & other stakeholders.
  • Elaborate optimum solution for complex issues & manage the deployment of the solution.
  • Elaborate & recommend a strategy on how the decision shall be communicate.
  • Perform a risk analysis for complex solutions.
  • Expert (role model) that can work with no supervision.
  • Provide coaching & training to the team members.
