Overview:

A structured Bartender role is critical to assist all beverage staff in daily Food & Beverage operation of the River Cree Resort & Casino.

Reporting to the Tap 25 Manager, the Bartender will be responsible to receive and prepare drink orders in an efficient and timely manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare drink orders.
  • Open the bar with appropriate supplies.
  • Receive money for drinks and give change back.
  • Use of Micros.
  • Clean the bar at the end of the night.
  • Cash closing procedures.
  • Bartender for Tap 25 Restaurant may be required to work in another Food & Beverage Outlet from time to time as directed by Management
  • To look out for the safety of yourself, co-workers and to follow all Health and Safety requirements in the workplace.
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Current Bartending Experience
  • AGLC – Proserve/Protect preferred
  • Communication Skills: good speaking and listening skills to understand that tasks are being asked of them and to deal with any concerns from guests.
  • Physical Ability: Many of the Bartenders tasks require him/her to carry loads up to 25lbs. During any expediting he/she must be able to move the load on a tray across the restaurant floor smoothly.
  • Good health and personal hygiene.
  • Has an interest in learning about food and beverage service.
  • Has a cheerful, positive attitude.
  • Able to work well in a team environment.
  • Good with dealing with stressful situations.

The schedule for this position may vary and would require the ability to work shift work, late nights, weekends and holidays.
