We are seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our team in Burnaby, British Columbia. In this role, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing payroll processes for a large number of employees, managing timesheets, and handling Workers' Compensation Board (WCB) remittances.

This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:
  • Accurately process bi-weekly payroll for around 250 employees, a majority of whom are paid hourly.
  • Monitor and manage weekly timesheets in the timekeeping system.
  • Reconcile pay per timesheets, utilizing excel for comparison with paper timesheets.
  • Handle WCB remittances and ensure its accurate posting in the accounting system.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of union policies to effectively manage payroll.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications.
  • Maintain precise customer credit records.
  • Monitor customer accounts and take corrective action as needed.
