We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Summer Student to join our Medical Affairs/Medical Staff Office.

Employment Status: Temporary Full Time
Duration: Until August 31, 2025 (subject to changer per management rights)
Hours of Work: Normal hours of work will be days, Monday – Friday
Location: Humber River Health, Wilson Site (On-site)
Labour Group: Non-Union

Reporting Relationship: Director, Medical Affairs

Position Responsibilities:

  • Update and standardize the content and form of physician files
  • Provide content updates for the Medical Affairs webpage on the public-facing HRH website
  • Support filing and conversion of documentation to electronic records
  • Other administrative tasks to support Medical and Academic Affair Specialists and special projects related responsibilities as requested

Qualifications:

  • Must be actively enrolled in post-secondary education
  • Previous experience in administrative or customer service support required
  • Previous experience with electronic records or scanning preferred
  • Candidates from the North West Toronto community are especially encouraged to apply, preference will be given to local residents
  • Intermediate/proficient computer skills - Microsoft office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Superior organizational skills and detail-oriented
  • Able to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Ability to multitask competing priorities
  • Ability to prioritize work in a fast paced, service-oriented environment
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with high attention to detail
