Operations and Delivery Team Lead - DATA.AIR
DATA.AIR Operations & Delivery Team Lead
GHGSAT offers greenhouse gas detection, measurement, and monitoring services to industrial and government customers around the world. GHGSAT has pioneered the use of our own satellites and aircraft sensors, combined with third-party data, to help industrial emitters better understand, control, and reduce their emissions.
GHGSAT’s capability is unique: we provide high-resolution, local measurements of atmospheric methane and carbon dioxide concentration from air and space. This enables us to detect, geolocate, and quantify sources of greenhouse gas emissions, empowering industry’s sustainability goals.
As more satellites and aircraft instruments launch and our operations grow to meet increasing international demand for our services, we are introducing a new role into the organizational structure. Reporting to our Director of Operations, the DATA.AIR Operations & Delivery Team Lead will oversee the team responsible for the processing, generation, and delivery of DATA.AIR products generated from our aircraft instrument data, ensuring compliance with our quality and service levels.They will also support the processing of data collected using our Earth observation instruments.
The Operations team has a flexible work environment with the option for hybrid work; however, this role must be based out of our Montreal, Canada or Calgary, Canada office.

- Understand and interpret the analysis of remote sensing measurements of greenhouse gas emissions;
- Process and perform quality checks on data of greenhouse gas measurements from our suite of remote sensing instruments;
- Prepare, validate, and deliver data products and reports to customers and implement customer management/support best practices;
- Oversee the execution of DATA.AIR processing workflows, engaging with Airborne Operations, Software, Science, Sales, and Customer Success teams to ensure a seamless delivery of service;
