We are seeking a dedicated Accounting Clerk to join our team in Toronto, Ontario. The main function of this role involves managing the accounts receivable function, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, collection of payments, and resolution of customer billing issues.
This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Generate and disseminate invoices to customers in a timely manner.
- Keep a close eye on customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.
- Conduct follow-ups on overdue accounts and coordinate payment collection.
- Ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted by reconciling the accounts receivable ledger.
- Address and resolve customer billing issues and discrepancies.
- Prepare and maintain various reports pertaining to the status of accounts receivable.
- Utilize accounting software and Microsoft Excel for efficient data entry and invoice processing.
- Use the skills of Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP effectively.
- Maintain accurate customer credit records.
