Senior Accountant/Manager – Public Practice

Compensation: $80,000 - $120,000 annually

If so, our esteemed client, a well-established CPA firm in Vancouver, is actively seeking a dynamic individual to join their boutique team at the Senior Accountant or Manager level. This role offers a comprehensive scope, allowing you to demonstrate proficiency in compilations, audit, assurance, and tax services.

As a pivotal member reporting directly to the firm's Partners, the successful candidate (Senior Accountant or Manager) will be entrusted with the following responsibilities:

• Supervising junior staff in bookkeeping, including adjusting entries, calculating source deductions, and managing GST/PST returns for clients as needed.
• Preparing compilations/NTRS of year-end financial statements and associated working papers.
• Managing the preparation and review of personal Tax (T1), corporate tax returns (T2), and Trust & Estate Tax (T3) returns.
• Handling files requiring audit and assurance services.
• Directly liaising with internal stakeholders and external parties such as clients and the CRA.
• Reviewing, mentoring, training, and overseeing work completed by junior staff.
