Human Resources (HR) Manager

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced HR Manager to support the growth and development of our organization by managing all human resource functions for our educational programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for attracting, developing, and retaining talented educators and staff, while promoting a positive and inclusive workplace culture within the early childhood education sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Staffing:
- Lead recruitment efforts for all roles related to early childhood education, including teachers, assistant educators, and administrative staff.
- Partner with the leadership team to develop effective staffing strategies and hiring plans that align with the organization's goals.
- Ensure recruitment processes are efficient, equitable, and inclusive, adhering to all relevant regulations and policies.
- Onboarding & Training:
- Develop and implement comprehensive onboarding programs for new hires, ensuring a seamless transition into the organization.
- Coordinate ongoing professional development and training opportunities to enhance staff skills, knowledge, and retention, with a focus on early childhood education best practices.
- Facilitate orientation sessions and ensure staff are equipped with the tools and resources needed to succeed.
- Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for staff concerns and provide guidance on conflict resolution, performance issues, and professional development.
- Foster a positive and supportive work environment that encourages open communication and collaboration.
- Promote and maintain a culture of respect, inclusion, and continuous learning.
- Performance Management:
- Oversee performance management processes, including goal-setting, performance reviews, and feedback sessions.
- Work with managers to support staff development and address any performance-related challenges.
- Provide recommendations and guidance on professional growth paths for educators and other staff.
- Compliance & Regulations:
- Ensure all human resource activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, particularly those specific to the early childhood education sector.
- Stay current on legislation, best practices, and trends related to early childhood education and staffing.
- Maintain accurate records related to employee status, certifications, and compliance with mandatory training.
- Compensation & Benefits:
- Collaborate with leadership to manage compensation structures and employee benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness within the education sector.
- Provide support in managing staff benefits, including health, wellness, and retirement programs.
- Culture & Engagement:
- Cultivate a positive, inclusive organizational culture that supports the well-being of both children and staff.
- Organize employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and wellness initiatives to maintain morale and improve retention rates.
