We are seeking a passionate and driven individual that is looking to broaden their business-to-business sales experience and gain valuable market knowledge through the Junior Area Sales Manager Role.

As a Junior Area Sales Manager with Bosch Power Tools, you will be the primary point of contact for our Industrial on line distributors as well as work collaboratively with our field sales organization to manage small to mid size dealers and identify/develop new distribution partners.

You will support our field sales organization in developing strategic account plans, preparing for distributor and end user events, analyzing sales data, produce regular sales reporting and manage regular digital communications with distribution partners and professional end users.

Your actions will directly impact the top line sales and profitability of Bosch Tools Canada and are critical to the success of the overall organization.

What You Will Do:

  • Support our Field Team to drive sales in the assigned region through 3 main channels: Current distribution, new business development, and end-user/jobsite business development.
  • Drive sales with Industrial on line distribution partners by promoting new listings and programming, analyzing POS sales data and developing category insights and recommendations and providing on line content to maximize sales.
  • Work collaboratively with Regional and Area Sales Managers to identify and develop new distribution opportunities.
  • Develop, maintain and grow business with assigned small to mid-size accounts across the Eastern, Central and Western regions.
  • Assist field sales in developing comprehensive and strategic sell in and sell through plans for your Industrial distribution partners.
  • Keep the organization up to date on competitive trends.
  • Help train and demonstrate products on a regular basis throughout the year.
  • Engage with Brand Marketing team.

What You Have Done:

  • Completed a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 year’s sales and/or sales support experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Shown effective business communication skills, have a broad business perspective, and understand the power tool market.
  • Requires a valid driver’s license
  • Occasional travel with some overnight stays, up to 10%
  • Bilingual (French and English) would be an asset
  • Must be located in the Greater Toronto area
