Software Developer - Digital Check Processing
This role is not just about writing code; it's about improving and automating processes to enhance the technical capabilities of our team. The successful individual will also play a key role in developing the automation for a high-profile project, enabling efficiencies across the team.
What you will do Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions that align with company objectives and user needs. Think critically to troubleshoot and resolve challenging problems efficiently Support the implementation of application programs; fixing any existing or new bugs.
Analyze existing systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement and automation Ensure code integrity and organization, including code reviews and maintaining documentation. Participate in post-implementation reviews of application development content and processes; continually working to create a learning environment by sharing about the participation process with others Analyze identified system vulnerabilities and areas relating to compliance and assist with their resolution Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development to continually improve your skill set and the quality of your work What you need to succeed Must Haves Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, with a strong foundation in Java (Agile/Kanban) Prior experience working in a DevOps environment with Ansible, GitHub Actions, OCP and Helios Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment (CI/CD Build, test, deploy) Prior experience with 2 of the following (Windows, Unix, OCP, Oracle, SQL, mainframe) Strong understanding of databases, data structures, and algorithms Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to perform complex system analysis Strong analytical and communication skills, essential for working effectively in a team and articulating technical concepts Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
