You can develop your full potential, sustainably, by applying your expertise within the Containerboard Packaging Division as a Project Manager – Lean & Continuous Improvement:
Your responsibilities :
- Support the evolution of the Lean Production System (structure of daily meetings animation/facilitation of workshops and development of dashboards, among others);
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and problem solving in the group’s units with solutions to improve operational efficiency;
- Participate in achieving the unit’s action plan by providing support in terms of operational efficiency and improving the quality of our products and services;
- Define and improve end-to-end operational processes (mapping and deployment);
- Ensure the use of project management practices for the implementation of complex solutions;
- Coordinate and support implementation efforts and monitoring of standardized operational practices, manufacturing procedures and work instructions related to the achievement of the group's objectives;
- Evaluate and propose recommendations and solutions to improve productivity and reduce costs;
- Develop performance indicators, support their implementation and monitor them;
- Analyze data and trends to identify improvement opportunities (MES/Manufacturing Execution System);
- Support the sustainability of the lean model by contributing to the transfer of knowledge and best practices within your group as well as in the different production units (network development, maturity audits);
- Contribute to the resolution of technical problems in the units by coordinating and facilitating sessions in collaboration with the various stakeholders;
- Maximize synergies and integration in Cascades' business units, as well as at all levels of the company (intra and inter-group, corporate).
**The candidate will be required to travel approximately 50 % of the time in Canada and US and US as part of the position.

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business management, operations or a related field;
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in continuous improvement and quality in a manufacturing environment;
- Green or Black Belt certified or equivalent experience;
- Have great communication & mobilization skills and be facilitator;
- Counseling role & impact, rigor and action oriented;
- Have a great sense of analysis, planning and organization;
- Fluency in French and English (essential), to communicate easily with our units and partners in Quebec, the English-speaking provinces and the United States.
