Overview
As a Supplier Quality Specialist, you conduct audits at supplier's facilities and define corrective actions (CAR) resulting from audit findings in order to ensure compliance with Wonderbrands’ quality requirements. You work with the supplier regularly to ensure continued compliance of supplier in order to qualify the supplier for use by Wonderbrands.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Audit Preparation with Supplier:
- Define the scope, activities, and focus areas
- Review the document framework to support the audit, considering previous audit results at the supplier
- Conduct On-Site Audits:
- Perform audits at the supplier’s site
- Manage and track the completion of Corrective Action Requests (CARs) and Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs) resulting from audit findings
- Compliance and Risk Assessment:
- Assess supplier compliance with Wonderbrands’ requirements
- Evaluate the strengths, risks, and opportunities of suppliers, and propose risk mitigation plans
- Audit Results and Action Plans:
- Share audit results with the supplier’s management team to ensure the completion of action plans
- Record and track the results of the audit
- Training and Quality Implementation:
- Identify necessary training needs at the supplier to ensure compliance with quality actions required to meet customer and Wonderbrands’ requirements
- Implement all necessary methodologies and tools recommended by Wonderbrands, with support from the Quality team at the supplier
- Post-secondary education in Food Science, Microbiology, process engineering or a related discipline
- Knowledge of food safety (HACCP) programs, GMP programs and Quality Systems
- Working knowledge and experience with BRC
- Ability to learn fast, ambitious and come up with new innovative ideas
- Positive attitude and a results-oriented mindset
- Work well in and support a team-based environment
- Roll up your sleeves mentality with a whatever it takes mindset to get the job done
- Naturally curious and strong desire to learn and grow
- Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
