Job Description:

The Change Integration Specialist reporting to the Change Integration Manager, integrates internal business partners into products and services offered by Canadian Shared Services (CSS). They create repeatable processes, establishing standards based on company policies, industry/best practices, while ensuring process consistency.

Specialists provide support and feedback to the Change Integration Manager, Director, and team.

What will you do:

  • Support the intake, prioritization and triaging of change requests submitted by internal business partners
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships within business areas and ensure consistency and clear communications
  • Support the planning, scheduling, managing and chairing of the Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings
  • Communicate with change requesters - keeping them informed of change progress
  • Support the management of the Canadian Shared Services service catalogue
  • Gather, analyze and present data consumable at all levels of the organization
  • Support the design and development of the CSS change intake tool
  • Integrate business partners into CSS services.
  • Maintain Business Records (Databases & Documentation)
  • Identify and drive continuous improvements to improve efficiencies

What do you need to succeed:

  • Excellent analytical skills (planning, quantitative skills, attention to detail and quality standards)
  • Stellar organizational, communication and interpersonal skills written and verbal.
  • Exceptional research skills including ability to interview business resources to ensure understanding of changes being requested
  • Initiative-taker with the ability to work independently on tasks, prioritize and work effectively to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated creative problem solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to facilitate and collaborate to drive decision making to closure
  • Results driven and goal oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Consulting and relationship management skills - must have the ability to influence, facilitate and negotiate
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal business partners
  • Advance level skills with Microsoft tools, including PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Sharepoint and OneNote
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
  • Six Sigma or Lean Management experience would be an asset
  • Previous ServiceNow experience would be an asset
  • As this position is posted in several locations, we specify that bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for Quebec only as the position reports to a unilingual English-speaking manager outside Quebec.

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance.

Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
