Description:
Agilus is recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor in the manufacturing industry in Burlington, Ontario.
The warehouse supervisor will be overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, storing, and shipping products or materials.
A typical day:
- Verify that all inbound and outbound shipments are properly packaged, identified and accurate. Ensuring all shipment documentation is in place.
- Direct Shippers/Receivers on products to move to the external warehouse
- Maintain a safely and orderly warehouse
- Coordinate and monitor inventory levels of both plant and off-site warehouses
- Review, create and/or modify Shipping/Receiving and Warehouse procedures for the LMS
- Initiate any corrective actions for non-conformance
- Provide direction to Production and Warehouse Shipper/Receivers with respect to daily tasks and requirements. Manage employee performance and attendance
- Creation of new or improvement of existing work procedures and practices
Successful candidates will have:
- Must have Shipping/Receiving /Warehouse experience
- Must have recent forklift experience
- Must have at least 5 years of supervisory experience
- Fast-paced manufacturing experience preferred
- Must be very organized and strong with prioritizing importance of tasks
- Proficient with Warehouse Management Systems and Microsoft Office suite
