Industrial Cleaner

Adecco is currently hiring a full-time dedicated and safety-conscious Industrial Cleaner to join a reputable industrial facility in New Glasgow, NS. As an Industrial Cleaner, you will play a critical role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across machinery, equipment, and workspaces to ensure a safe and efficient production environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of industrial equipment, production areas, and common facilities.
• Operate cleaning machinery such as pressure washers, floor scrubbers, and vacuum systems.
• Safely handle and apply industrial cleaning agents according to workplace safety guidelines.
• Dispose of waste materials properly in accordance with company and environmental policies.
• Conduct routine inspections of work areas to identify and report safety or maintenance issues.
• Follow all OH&S protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Work independently or as part of a team to complete cleaning tasks on schedule.
• Maintain accurate records of completed tasks and cleaning schedules

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing cleaning role is preferred.
• Physically fit and capable of performing repetitive tasks, heavy lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety procedures (WHMIS certification is an asset).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends if required.
• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
