Who are we looking for?

A professional capable to increase the company's sales in Toronto through the development and management of affiliated personas (aluminum fabricators, architects, construction companies etc.). In addition to the direct sales responsibilities and duties that are essential, their role is to develop technically strong affiliates who will contribute both to the sales volume and the quality of the company's reputation in the region.

About the profile

The candidate will be Alumil’s first sales engineer permanently located in the region with a direct reporting line to the Corporate Sales Director. Our focus is a modern salesperson profile that includes both engineering and B2B skills. Our Alumiler will be a dynamic & meticulous professional with great attention to technical details and an outgoing personality. More specifically they will:

  • Manage the company's commercial and credit policies and payment collection
  • Consult with the clients regarding regional financial targets
  • Develop long-term relationships with existing or potential partners
  • Support Alumil's clientele and advise it daily regarding technical and commercial matters -often in person
  • Look for new partners in the region
  • Update yourself regarding market trends, product changes and the competition through marketing mapping, analysis and documentation
  • Participate in exhibitions and other marketing activities
  • Research the market and make proposals that will increase the company's market
  • Update the CRM system, evaluate customer requests and solve problems that might arise
Requirements
  • Engineering Degree
  • At least 5 years of previous working experience as a sales engineer in a relative sector
  • Ability to collaborate with architects, consultants, engineers and other stakeholders of structural projects
  • Understanding of architectural aluminum products
  • Be a Canadian Citizen (dual citizens included), or eligible to work in Canada
  • Knowledge of reporting systems (ERP, CRM)
  • Knowledge of local construction standards
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated personality
