Int. Full Stack Developer (CMS Stack) to develop and integrate front-end UI with REST API services for our public sector client - RQ00084
Location: Toronto - Hybrid 2x per week on-siteDuration: 6 month contract (up for renewal on April 4, 2025)
Hours: 7.25 per day
Must have skills:
- Experience with Technology Stack - Vercel, ContentStack, Cloudinary and cloud data hub
- 5+ years’ experience with REST API services
- 5+ years’ experience integrating front-end UI with the constructed API Knowledge
- 2+ years’ experience with Asset Management (HxGN EAM) - functional knowledge is an asset
- Agile development
- Open to traveling (using Presto Card) to ensure there aren't any configuration issues, performing on-site configuration/troubleshooting, etc
Nice to have skills:
- Experience with a similar signage project (any experience with Interactive maps, displays, signage, etc)
Description:
- This team supports all of the Signage (Information Display Systems - IDS)
- Design, implement, and continuously expand data pipelines by performing extraction, transformation, and loading activities.
- Required to translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications. This includes developing detailed programming specifications, writing and/or generating code, compiling data-driven programs, maintaining, and conducting unit tests.
- Resolves and troubleshoots technical problems which arise during the use and operation of software packages, including technical assistance in implementation, conversion and migrations.
- Proficient with both front end and back end development including any associated areas such as database design/management
- Experience with design and implementation of the overall web architecture
- Experience with implementation of approved user interface, design and deployment of database Knowledge and experience ensuring the entire stack is designed and built for speed and scalability
- Knowledge and experience with the design and construction of REST API services
- Knowledge and experience integrating front-end UI with the constructed API
- Knowledge and experience in design and implementation of continuous integration and deployment
- Knowledge and experience with programming Internet-ready applications
- Knowledge and experience in rapid application development (RAD) methodologies Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies and practices
- Experience with middleware and gateways
- Experience reviewing, analyzing, and modifying product installation scripts including encoding, testing, debugging
- Ability to provide post-implementation support and resolve any post-implementation technical issues
- Experience conducting design walkthrough sessions with project team
- Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards
- Ability to provide user and system documentation as required
