Our New Westminster-based client is searching for a Help Desk Specialist to join their IT team for a 6-month contract role. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for internal users, providing technical support and troubleshooting a wide range of IT issues.
Responsibilities- Provide exceptional technical support to internal users via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve a variety of technical issues related to:
> Microsoft O365 (including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams)
> Active Directory
> Network and system configuration
> Software applications
> Leverage ServiceNow to document, track, and escalate IT tickets efficiently.- Maintain a deep understanding of relevant IT policies and procedures.
- Document solutions and procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and maintain consistency.
- Proactively identify and report potential IT issues to prevent downtime.
- Collaborate effectively with internal IT teams to resolve complex technical problems.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while delivering exceptional customer service.
