2025 Insurance, Winter Data Analyst (8 months)
Job Summary
As a Group Annuity, Data Analyst, you will provide support to RBC Insurance’s Group Annuity Line of Business. Job Description
What will you do?- Work within a dynamic environment where you are encouraged to aid in process improvement and work with autonomy.
- Develop processes and procedures for annuity administration support.
- Maintain and develop internal relationships.
- Input and analyze group annuity data.
- Perform ad-hoc reporting for internal/external use as needed.
- Investigate instances of data integrity problems and initiate corrective actions.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Statistics
- Excellent working knowledge using VBA, Python and R Programming
- Experience with End User Reporting Tools (ex. Tableau)
- Other programming skills considered an asset ie. SQL
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel and MS Access
- Analytical Thinking
- Actuarial or pension knowledge/experience

In order to be eligible for these student positions, you must either:
- Be returning back to school after the work term end-date; or
- If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating immediately after the work term), you must require the full work term as a mandatory component in order to graduate successfully
