Forklift Operator - Counterbalance - Toronto

Adecco is hiring a Forklift Operator for our client in Scarborough, ON – please note this is for 3-4 weeks to assist on a project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a counterbalance forklift, handling inventory, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations.
This role requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Location: Scarborough, ON
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, day shifts
- Employment Type: Full-time | Temporary
Responsibilities:
- Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
- Receive, load, and unload pallets of materials/packages.
- Stack pallets in accordance with safety protocols.
- Operate warehouse equipment and assist packaging operators as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Troubleshoot and resolve warehouse-related issues.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be eligible to reside and work within Canada.
- High school diploma required.
- Minimum 1-year experience as a Forklift Driver + certification, or two years’ experience as a forklift driver if not certified
- Valid forklift license is mandatory.
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs, sitting, pushing and reaching.
- Problem-solving mindset and team-oriented attitude.
