Position Summary:

Temple Gardens Centre is currently seeking casual Event Security personnel to join its security team.

This role pays an hourly rate of $15.50 CAD

Benefits for Part-Time roles: Pension matching

This position will remain open until April 17, 2026.

Responsibilities:

• Secure entrances
• Perform bag checks and inspections
• Ensure all public areas are a safe environment for patrons
• Maintain a comprehensive security log book
• Submit fully detailed Incident Reports for all incidents
• Enhance customer service

Qualifications:

• Exceptional problem solving, judgement, and negotiation skills
• Strong ability to be assertive and influential
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Courteous and professional manner
• A commitment to service excellence and customer satisfaction
• Solid team player with strong interpersonal skills
• Able to work flexible hours as required by event schedule: evening, weekend and holidays
• Previous security services experience would be an asset
• Current CPR and First Aid certificates preferred
• High School Graduate
• This position is a position of trust and successful applicants will be required to provide a Criminal Records Check
