Legal Receptionist

Our client is seeking a Legal Receptionist in Hamilton, ON for a full-time permanent position. This position serves as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and other stakeholders in a legal office. This role requires excellent communication, organizational skills, and a professional demeanor to provide exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
The Legal Receptionist will perform a variety of administrative duties to support the smooth operation of the legal practice.
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment.
- Answer and direct phone calls promptly and accurately, taking detailed messages when necessary.
- Coordinate appointments, meetings, and consultations for attorneys and staff.
- Provide basic information to clients regarding office policies and procedures, while maintaining confidentiality.
- Receive, organize, and distribute mail, packages, and legal documents.
- Assist with data entry, file management, and other clerical tasks as needed.
- Relay messages between attorneys, clients, and other office staff effectively.
- Monitor and maintain the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and professional at all times.
