- time regular FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days Hours of Work: 14 shifts of 8 hours per 3 weeks Relief: No Float: No Field Hours: No Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band $51.10 to $62.50 (5 step range) Job Description: Physician Assistants (PAs) are academically and clinically educated medical generalist who practice medicine within a formalized relationship with a physician.
Regulated by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS), PAs collect and interpret medical information, make appropriate clinical decisions and carry out diagnostic and therapeutic interventions within a formalized Physician/PA relationship agreement approved by the CPSS.
Travel Required: Yes Human Resources Exemption: No Experience Clinical experience working as a PA in a related clinical field, is an asset Education Successful completion of a recognized accredited PA educational program Licenses Membership and Licensure in good standing with the CPSS as a Physician Assistant Certified with the Canadian Association of Physician Assistants Competencies Intermediate- Mobilizes people, inspires and leads by example Advanced
